Position Description

Team Member primarily works with landscape materials and hand tools while assisting Team Leaders in their projects. Unless other arrangements for internships, summer-work, etc. have been made, this position is typically Full-Time w/Over Time Year-Round

Working Relationships

The employee will work closely with the team leader and other members of the team. We understand people have bad days. However, having a poor attitude overall can be draining to the overall team dynamic. We require folks with a positive attitude and folks that can work alone as well as with others

Working Hours

General hours are Monday-Friday 6:45 am - 5:30 pm with the potential for Saturdays. Some Saturdays may be required due to scheduling and weather conditions. Snow services may require holiday and Sunday work if/as needed. Actual working day varies due to the scopes and locations of work.

Position Description

Team Foreman has prior experience applicable to planting & construction projects and works with minimal supervision. This  FULL-TIME + Over Time, Year-Round position  directs  the activities of a team of one or more members in the production and implementation of specific projects. Typical team sizes involve 3-5 team members.

The Team Leader works as a member of the team while directing the team to accomplish projects on schedule, while maintaining a high quality product with great service to our clients. An ideal Team Leader will enjoy learning and increasing understanding to develop a broad understanding of multiple construction disciplines & achieve multiple endorsements within Stone Ridge Landscaping Inc.

In addition to construction knowledge, the ability communicate clearly people skills and a moderate level of motivation. Position Description

Our project manager position is a salary position involving the planning and organization of our teams. To be an ideal fit for this role:

  • Assist in winter responsibilities for our snow operations team

  • Management of weekly and daily production schedule/ build project schedules, communicate timelines with Operations Manager/ ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and at the highest quality/ make sure production rates are met or exceeded and crew management

  • Manage materials and rental equipment

  • Participate in on-site meetings, as required

  • Monitor the quality and safety of work with job site inspections for quality control

  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors. Keep up-to-date reporting of projects status

  • Conduct weekly meetings with foremen about site progress and Stone Ridge Standards

  • Oversee project contracts, including field change orders

  • Teach crew procedures for installation. Make and update SOP's(standard operating procedures) and enforce SOP standards

  • Responsible for submitting accurate and timely paperwork, time records, work orders, reports, and other required documents/manage invoicing operations and proficiency with landscape operations paperwork

  • An ability to identify, negotiate, and solve site/design problems. Flexibility to make changes with designers and team foreman

  • Ability to read, interpret layout engineering and landscape plans

  • Effective communicator. Skills with communication through phone, email, text, and meetings with vendors, contractors, and internal team members

Experience Desired

  • We would like experience with landscape construction and experience leading multiple crews and projects

  • Knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, horticulture, masonry and other landscape trades

  • We expect experience in the residential and commercial construction field

  • Experience with the email, the Microsoft suite, ability to make phone calls emphasizing quality, kindness and effectiveness

Certifications Desired
  • A degree in landscape construction or related form of accredited college or university

  • Valid drivers license and good driving record required

  • Landscape Industry Certified (CLT)

Position Description

  • The greenhouse lead is expected to be knowledgeable about plant care, plant sales, and have retail experience. Each of these factors is key to the success of a Green house lead with Stone Ridge Landscaping.

  • planning greenhouse events

  • scheduling greenhouse team

  • ordering plants and seeds from venders

  • plant health management (repotting, fertilizing, pest control)

  • taking monthly inventory and ordering appropriately for company need and customer needs
